One can visit Dandeli through out the year. Each season offers unique experience to visitors. However, October to January period attracts maximum tourists.

October to January:

Dandeli is at its best during this period. Forest is lush green after monsoon season. Water falls are at full force, weather is pleasant, Wildlife is very active. River rafting Kalli starts during this season. You will be among the first to enange in this thrilling adventure activity if you visit Dandeli during this season.

February to May:

Forest starts getting dry. Trees start shedding leaves. But this is the season to witness harvesting. Best time to visit tribal villages and experience their culture and heritage. Many cultural activities take place during this period. This season is also best for water activities. Hike in forest and escape from that heat. Take a dip in natural pools.
River rafting continues in this season as well. You can combine rafting with many other water activities.

June to September:

This is the mosoon season at Dandeli. Dandeli gets lot of rain. Drench yourself in rain, engage in farming activities along with local farmers. This is the best time to visit Doodh Sagar falls. Best is to trek from Castlerock while enjoying many other small streams and water falls along the way.
